The Westside Youth ministry is designed to bring students grades 6-9 and 10-12 to develop a lasting relationship with God by building a strong
foundation in their faith. Our mission is to make disciples who know God and His word, and enable them to shine as a light for Christ in their communities.
Games, teaching, and community create an atmosphere of encouragement and learning where youths can have fun and grow in their love and
knowledge of God.

We believe it's important for girls to have a right view of themselves, God and others, which is why we have Grace Girls. Through games, teaching and crafts we help young girls to find their beauty and self worth in who Christ has created them to be. All girls ages 9-17 are welcome to join us.
We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm - 8pm.
Dinner is provided.

At Westside Bible Church we desire to lay a strong biblical and Christ-centred foundation in the lives of our children. We want to see each child grow in their relationship with God, becoming life-long followers of Jesus Christ. Our children's ministry is called Harvest Kids and is for newborns through Grade 6. Junior Church is a place for children to make friends, have fun, and most importantly learn about Jesus Christ!
Each Sunday we offer classes during the service that are designed to minister to children. We have a loving environment that provides age-appropriate care and learning for Nursery, Early Childhood, and Grade School.
At Westside, we love children. Children are vital to our society and God's Kingdom (Matthew 19:14). We want your child to build their life on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:24-27).
We want the same thing for our children that we want for adults: that they worship, walk with and work for Christ. We cannot properly make disciples without having an intentional, discipleship emphasis on children.
We are committed to helping the women of Westside grow in knowing, loving, and serving our Sovereign Creator God, and to work together as we grow in Christ-likeness, by His grace. Our ministries focus on the Word of God, on evangelism and discipleship, and on many areas of practical service. We invite all women of Westside to be involved as they are able, and our earnest prayer is that God will use these ministries for His glory and for our good.
Women's Wednesday morning Bible Study meets at 9:30am at the church. Please feel free to come and join. If you would like more information please send an email to: The Westside or call the office at 250-474-8066 and leave your contact information.
The Christian life is never a solo journey. Christians need consistent encouragement from each other in order to persevere in faith and live lives characterized by love and obedience to Christ.
To this end the author of Hebrews exhorts us with great urgency, "Take care brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God, but encourage one another day after day" (3:12-13). Later in the letter he continues, "Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together" (10:24-25a).
At Westside, we believe Small Groups are an excellent way to facilitate the mutual encouragement, care, and service that the Bible calls the local church body to practice toward one another. Therefore, Small Groups at Westside are groups of about 8-12 believers committing to meet regularly for fellowship, study, accountability, prayer, and service.
When and Where?
Currently small groups meet on Tuesday's and Thursday's evenings during the week. We have two locations; Colwood and Langford.
Who Can Join?
Small groups at Westside are intended primarily to help our members provide biblical care and encouragement for one another. At Westside we understand participation in a small group as one aspect of our commitment to this local congregation. Therefore, although you do not have to have completed the membership process before joining a group, group participation is reserved for members or those moving toward membership.
How Do I Get into a Small Group?
The primary opportunities for joining a small group are through our sign-ups at the beginning of September. However, joining a small group is possible through out the year by contacting The Westside or calling the office at 250-474-8066.
